ABOUT THIS CONCERT

Starting in 2024, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra (MCO) will take over the Artistic Direction of the renowned Musikwoche Hitzacker for five years. Titled, aus Leidenschaft (Out of Passion) the festival's 38th edition will reflect the MCO's own passion for music and their wish to engage in an active dialogue with audiences and the festival itself.

The MCO supports young musicians across multiple platforms, providing high-quality orchestral experiences and offering opportunities to network and exchange.

For Neuland (uncharted territory), you’re invited to enjoy music and a drink in a relaxed setting. A variety of styles and genres will be offered by musicians of the MCO and young professionals in this late-night concert.
