ABOUT THIS CONCERT
Starting in 2024, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra (MCO) will take over the Artistic Direction of the renowned Musikwoche Hitzacker for five years. Titled, aus Leidenschaft (with Passion), the festival's 38th edition will reflect the MCO's own passion for music and their wish to engage in an active dialogue with audiences and the festival itself.
The MCO supports young musicians across multiple platforms, providing high-quality orchestral experiences and offering opportunities to network and exchange. Alumni of the MCO academy (young professionals) from various countries will share the stage with violinist Timothy Summers from the orchestra.
Lying down, sitting, or standing - make yourself comfortable, close your eyes, and immerse yourself in a new world surrounded by music.
