ABOUT THIS CONCERT
Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes and the MCO have been close musical partners for many years. Together, they have produced several internationally acclaimed recordings of the five Beethoven and some of the Mozart piano concertos (Sony). In 2012, they launched the MCO's "Feel the Music" project, which has brought the joy of experiencing music to deaf and hard-of hearing children in various countries. After this year's Musikwoche Hitzacker, Andsnes and the MCO will go on a tour together, bringing parts of the Hitzacker program to Luxemburg, Brussels and London.
