ABOUT THIS CONCERT
The Mahler Chamber Orchestra is curating a school festival in Berlin for the first time, centered around the theme of "Heimat". School classes from Berlin and the surrounding area have been invited to actively participate in and contribute to this inaugural festival.
The first concert of the festival, titled Welcome Home! A Festival about finding the place where you belong, is open to the public and free of charge. The concert is ideal for families and promises to be an insightful experience for adults too. We look forward to welcoming audiences aged 11 and over.
The moderation and the subsequent discussion format will be translated into German sign language.
