Emma is assisting the Director of Finance at the MCO. She previously worked as a freelance Production Manager for a theatre production and at the Barenboim-Said Akademie during its founding years, where she immersed herself in the world of classical music professionally for the first time.
Born in France, she also lived in Argentina and the United States before becoming a Berliner. After studying Literature, Cultural Studies, and Political Science, she first worked in communications for a cultural institution dedicated to cinema in Paris before moving to Berlin to work for the Cultural Services of the French Embassy — and never really leaving the city.
Her first exposure to classical music came through her Austrian grandmother, who listened to Mozart, Schubert, and Beethoven (alongside Julio Iglesias) at home in Buenos Aires and regularly attended concerts at the Teatro Colón.
