The MCO reconvenes with Artistic Partner Mitsuko Uchida to continue their long-term collaboration on Mozart’s piano concertos. This partnership, which began in January 2016, features Mitsuko Uchida leading the MCO from the keyboard. In this programme, Mozart’s piano concertos are complemented by Bartók’s Divertimento for Strings, led by MCO Concertmaster Matthew Truscott.
This tour features concerts in Perugia and Treviso, both cities in which the MCO are frequent guests, as well as Hamburg, where the MCO performs its debut concert in the highly anticipated inaugural season of the Elbphilharmonie.
