ABOUT THIS CONCERT
The MCO reconvenes with Artistic Partner Mitsuko Uchida to continue their long-term collaboration on Mozart’s piano concertos. This partnership, which began in January 2016, features Mitsuko Uchida leading the MCO from the keyboard.
In this concert, Mozart’s Piano Concertos no. 12 KV 414 and no. 25 KV 503 are complemented by Bartók’s Divertimento for Strings, led by MCO Concertmaster Matthew Truscott.
The MCO’s most recent appearance in Treviso, in January 2016, was part of its cycle of Beethoven symphonies with Artistic Advisor Daniele Gatti.
